Frances George Piano

I started taking French horn lessons in November 2013 because I love the sound of the instrument, and wanted to play with other musicians in amateur ensembles.
Learning a new instrument helps me empathise with the difficulties and nervousness of my own beginner piano students, and helps me compose with more understanding of the needs of brass players!
I am pleased to say that I passed my Grade 5 with Distinction in March 2016 and plan to take my Grade 6 exam in November 2016.
I'd like to thank my teacher Laura Llewellyn Jones and my accomplished accompanist Fran Wilson for getting me there.
I continue to enjoy playing with the Palace Band this year - look out for our concerts in and around Alexandra Palace this summer.
