Sound Foundations for your Musical Future

As we come out of lockdown from Covid-19  students can choose to take lessons online, or in person at my studio.

I am also taking on new students, on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

Disinfection and distancing procedures are carefully maintained in my studio.

Please email me at [email protected] if you would like to arrange lessons.

Why choose me as your piano teacher?

I have a lifelong love of music, I enjoy teaching and I want my students to become confident and competent pianists and musicians who will enjoy making music to the best of their ability.

With me, you will learn how to read musical notation, play in different styles from classical to contemporary, as well as improvise, compose and play by ear.

What can I offer you?

The benefits of over thirty years of experience teaching piano to adults and children, from beginners to Grade 8. I am also a state accredited teacher (PGCE Music Specialist for 7 to 12 year olds in 1989) with an MA in Music Composition (Kingston University 1998).

I regularly attend courses and events for my professional development as a piano teacher and composer.

Where do I teach?

At my studio in Teddington, Middlesex, TW11 8LA (UK) where I have a Yamaha U3 upright piano and a Yamaha P105 digital piano.
